From the standard version Telos TR2 The Plus version differs only in the inner tent, which has a more durable floor made from 30D Nylon with a Sil-PeU coating and a higher water column of 4000 mm.

The inner tent has walls made of a sturdy material as opposed to mosquito netting. This means it won't be easily blown through and retains heat better. You'll appreciate this especially in low temperatures. Conversely, in summer, poorer ventilation may lead to greater condensation. That's why the plus version will be more suitable for those who spend most of their time in cold, damp, and windy weather or who camp almost year-round.

The designers at Sea To Summit have really excelled with this tent. The tent features a unique Tension Ridge construction (a pole that runs across the tent). This design offers several advantages:

• more space in the interior in the shoulder and head area
• steeper walls ensure better water drainage during rain
• great ventilation and minimization of condensation inside
• more spacious vestibules

The Telos TR2 Plus provides ample interior space for two sleepers, featuring two entrances and two vestibules. This allows the sleepers sufficient space for their gear. The tent has a free-standing structure, meaning it stands without stakes. All zippers have two sliders and are equipped with ergonomic pull tabs. The rainfly features zippers protected by a storm flap with velcro.

Materials and construction

• The 15 cm elevated internal floor with a "bathtub" is constructed from 30D nylon with a water column of 4000 mm – better performance in wet conditions.
• The lightweight 20D ripstop nylon fabric of the inner tent prevents drafts and gusts.
• The rainfly made of 15D nylon with a waterproof coating of silicone/polyether polyurethane (PeU) ensures long-lasting waterproofness and durability.
• Tension Ridge system - provides significantly more living space.
• Apex Vent ventilation openings - at the highest point of the tent, there is a large ventilation opening that effectively vents warm air to prevent condensation. It can be easily closed with a zipper from inside the tent.
• Quick Connect Foot Buckle – an aluminum buckle in the corners of the rainfly easily attaches to the inner tent. It is sturdier than plastic buckles, which can break.
