Innovated ultralight and durable waterproof stuff sacks that protect your gear and clothing from water and moisture. These stuff sacks ensure clarity and organization of your equipment in your backpack during long trips. Thanks to their new oval shape, they efficiently fill the space in your backpack without leaving empty, unused areas.

The Ultra-Sil 30D Cordura material excellently combines low weight and durability. Its water column is more than 2000 mm. Double-stitched and taped seams, DWR treatment, and reinforced roll-top closure with a plastic buckle highlight the waterproofness of the stuff sack. As a result, the items inside are protected from moisture. The material is slightly translucent, allowing the contents to be discerned.
They are available in several color options, making it easier for you to organize your gear. The bag also functions as a compression sack, which is useful for compressing otherwise bulky down sleeping bags, down jackets, or other gear. Just squeeze the air out of it and roll the closure a few times. Air will not get back into the sack, and the gear will remain compressed – compact.

Compared to more durable but heavier Lightweight Dry Bags, Ultra-Sil Dry Bags made from Ultra-Sil 30D nylon are lighter, but they are more susceptible to punctures or damage with rough handling.
Personally, we use Ultra-Sil Dry Bags for lighter gear, such as clothing, down jackets, or summer sleeping bags. On the other hand, we prefer to store heavy equipment or food in more durable Lightweight Dry Bags. If you will mostly carry it in a backpack and it won't be exposed to a higher risk of damage, don't hesitate to go for the Ultra-Sil version.
We recommend Lightweight Dry Bags if you require higher durability, for example, if you plan to attach the bag externally to a backpack or handlebars on your bike. You simply don't have to be as cautious with Lightweight stuff sacks while using them.
If you're looking for a waterproof stuff sack with compression straps that works great for down sleeping bags, take a look at STS eVac Compression Dry Bag or on a lighter version STS eVac Compression Dry Bag UL.

Waterproof stuff sacks are a staple in the list of the most used and practical pieces of outdoor gear. It might seem that such a simple "bag" couldn’t have much room for improvement. However, the opposite is true, and waterproof stuff sacks had a significant upgrade at the beginning of 2023.
The key improvement lies in the change of the sack’s shape. The new version features an oval base, allowing for more practical packing into your backpack. This design helps fill the space in your pack without leaving empty, unused areas. Some hikers had previously complained about dead space in their backpacks when using the older version of the waterproof stuff sacks. This issue should now be resolved.
