For 2023, they introduced a game-changing innovation: The DirtSaw™. This trowel completely redefines how a small handheld tool can be used to dig holes in the ground.
With the DirtSaw™, you’ll be able to practice various innovative techniques, from using it upside down or sideways to half-sideways or right-side up. It’s a versatile tool that allows digging, poking, cutting, twisting, chopping, slicing, scooping, and more, making your digging tasks easier and more efficient than ever before. You’ll notice the handle intentionally lacks grips—TheTentLab believes in preserving the adaptability of the tool, enabling you to easily explore different digging modes.
Thoughtful and innovative details
Radiused trowel curvature – The radiused curvature increases the trowel’s strength by 65%, making it more resistant to bending. It also turns the trowel into a design piece that’s sure to catch attention on the trail.
Rounded bottom edge – Improves soil removal from deeper holes and reinforces the tip when testing the suitability of a chosen spot.
Recessed teeth – Easily grab and cut through roots while remaining safely recessed to protect your hands. If needed, the teeth can be sharpened with a nail file and stay sharp for a long time.
DirtSaw® saw blade – The standout revolution for this model is the saw blade integrated along both sides of the trowel. The serrated edges literally "bite" into the soil, with teeth specifically designed for dirt—broad and smooth—breaking through the ground without snagging on roots. The teeth are safe to handle and work best when naturally rounded with use, saving you up to one-third of your time overall.
