Turbat Maya Hood Trek Wmn is a women's base layer that combines the lightness of a trekking shirt with the functionality of a thin long-sleeve tee with a hood (so-called sun hoodie). Thanks to the hood, stretchy quick-drying material, and certified UV protection UPF50+, it's perfect for summer long-distance treks and backpacking trips. It wicks away sweat really well and doesn’t restrict your movement even on the toughest expeditions.

Maya Hood Trek is designed for all you travelers and adventurers who spend long hours on the move under the summer sun – whether it's on a mountain hike, during a multi-day backpacking trek, or while rafting on the water. It's a so-called sun hoodie, which means a comfy and functional long-sleeve shirt with a hood and reliable protection against UV rays.
The front panel is made from a very lightweight and breathable material (76 % nylon, 19 % polyester, 5 % elastane, 96 g/m²), which helps your body breathe and keeps that fresh feeling. The back and pocket area, on the other hand, uses a thicker and more flexible fabric (90 % polyester, 10 % elastane, 150 g/m²), which wicks sweat better and adapts well to movement. This combination of materials allows for effective thermoregulation even during physically demanding activities.
The shirt is designed with backpacking in mind – no unnecessary elements around the hips, a quick-drying structure, and high resistance to mechanical wear and UV radiation (UPF50+).
All these features make this base layer a perfect piece for long-distance hikes in the summer. The sun hoodie has also proven itself on our treks – David took it out for a 9-day crossing in the Karavshin Mountains of Kyrgyzstan in the summer. He appreciated the comfortable stretchy material and UV protection against the sun the most.
