Specifications
Rond is the name of insulated shorts from the Czech brand Warmpeace. These shorts are ideal as an outer insulating layer during active movement in winter, whether you are snowshoeing on a mountain hike through a snowy landscape or you have just set out for cross-country skiing or ski touring.
The shorts use Primaloft® synthetic insulation (weight 60 g/m²) as an insulating material, which provides warmth even when wet. This material is not only lightweight, breathable, and functional but also water-repellent. The outer layer is made from 100% nylon. Thanks to the materials used, the shorts are easily packable.
The shorts have a full-length zipper on both sides, making them very easy to put on and take off, even if you're wearing hiking boots or ski boots. The waistband is stretchy, and it can be easily adjusted with an elastic drawstring with a locking mechanism. There is a small zippered pocket on the front for keys or small items. A hidden zipper is located on the fly. The shorts slightly overlap the knees, and in this area, they are made of a thicker material.
