Revivex Durable Water Repellent is a fluorocarbon-based spray treatment that ensures water repellency of the outer surface of membrane clothing while maintaining the breathability of the membrane.

Even modern hi-tech fabrics lose their waterproof properties over time. An example is DWR (durable water-repellent) treatment, which wears off over time, making the fabric more prone to dirt and water absorption. With Revivex Durable Water Repellent, you can easily restore the water-repellent properties of your fabrics.

• Durable – the impregnation restores the DWR water-repellent treatment; after treatment, the garment will resist abrasion, repel water, and oil.
• Maximizes breathability - creates a waterproof layer and allows waterproof breathable garments to perform at their best.
• Washable – ideal for outerwear and ski gear, this DWR coating will remain after washing and can be air dried or heat treated.
• Compatible – designed for use on technical fabrics including eVent®, NeoShell®, and GORE-TEX® materials; the composition does not contain PFOA and PFOS.
• Multipurpose – for restoring water repellency in membrane clothing, ski pants, gloves, shoes, waders, and other equipment, e.g., with DWR treatment.

Usage

After washing the GORE-TEX garment, spray the REVIVEX treatment onto the wet, un-dried garment hanging on a hanger. Then dry the garment on an appropriate setting in a tumble dryer. The higher temperature during drying in the dryer stabilizes the treatment, and the protection will last for another 2-3 washes of the garment.

For those who do not have a dryer at home, there is an alternative method for stabilizing the impregnation by ironing the surface through a protective layer at low temperature.

Additionally, after temperature stabilization, it withstands multiple washes, which minimizes the costs of impregnation and simplifies the maintenance of membrane products.
