Reinforcement for the Crown3 backpack
Crown3 60 and Crown3 60 Women’s are popular ultralight backpacks for backpacking and long-distance trails. Their back system is primarily made up of a removable durable frame. This polypropylene frame provides standard comfort when carrying the backpack; it prevents items from pressing into your back, but because the frame is flexible, the backpack does not have complete torsional stiffness, which may not be pleasant when heavily loaded.
To enhance the comfort of carrying a backpack with a heavier load, we recommend upgrading the back system with an aluminum frame, which is not included with the backpack but can be purchased separately. The higher durability of the back panel will be particularly appreciated by those who (so far) do not favor ultralight backpacking and whose gear weighs a little bit more. According to the manufacturer, Crown3 backpacks are designed for 15-16 kilograms.
The benefit of the aluminum frame is an increase in the load capacity of the backpack by 3,6 kg.
