The Liteway Pyraomm Duo Tarp is a three-season shelter for 2 people with 2 entrances. This ultralight pyramid-style tarp is pitched using a single trekking pole and is suitable for people up to 185 cm tall. For protection against insects, it is recommended to pair the tarp with either the Pyraomm Duo Half Mesh or the Pyraomm Duo Full Mesh inner mesh tent.
Pyraomm Duo Tarp
Pyramid-shaped tents are known for their exceptional wind resistance. When properly anchored with stakes and secured with a trekking pole, the tent remains stable and highly resistant to strong winds. The steep walls also provide excellent rain protection, as water easily runs off without pooling. Pyramid tents are valued for their ultralight weight and simple setup.
We recommend this tent for individuals up to 185 cm tall. For taller individuals, we suggest considering the Pyraomm Plus or Pyraomm Max.
The Liteway Pyraomm Duo Tarp is extremely easy to pitch. Simply anchor the four corners and support the peak with a 130 cm trekking pole. You can then adjust and tighten the additional guy lines as needed. Alternatively, you can set up the tent using two trekking poles with an A-frame adapter, allowing for a more spacious interior without a pole in the center.
Warning, the seams are not taped! Since the tent is made from siliconized polyester, it cannot be sealed with standard polyurethane seam tape used in most tents (it won’t adhere to a silicone-treated surface). Instead, you must seal the seams manually before use. This can be done using Gear Aid Seam Grip +Sil 28g or by creating a DIY seam sealant using sanitary silicone mixed with white spirit (in a ratio of approximately 1:2, with a consistency similar to oil).
Tent stakes are not included in the package. You will need at least 4 stakes for setup, but it is better to be equipped with at least 8 stakes.
For maximum protection from insects and adverse weather, we recommend adding an inner mosquito (mesh) net. Choose either Pyraomm Duo Half Mesh (for one person) or Pyraomm Duo Full Mesh (for two people). You will create a fully functional double-wall tent with a remarkably low weight.
Features
The tent has 2 entrances equipped with YKK Aquagard waterproof zippers, so both sleepers have their own access and do not have to awkwardly climb over and disturb each other.
At the top, there are 2 vents to minimize condensation inside the tent. The vents are covered with mesh to keep insects out.
At the bottom edge in the center and at the corners, there are Linelocs (plastic components for loosening and tightening guy lines).
To adjust the inner height or improve stability in the wind, there are anchoring points on all sides at the lower edge and in the area.
The peak of the tent is reinforced on the inside with durable X-Pac material to prevent damage from trekking poles.
The zippers on both entrances are equipped with a cross-strap at the bottom, which helps reduce tension on the zipper when the tent is fully pitched.
If you want to keep the tent slightly open for better air ventilation, you can roll up a part of the rainfly and secure it with a loop and toggle.
At the peak on the outside, there is a Lineloc with a loop – besides using trekking poles, you can also set up the tent by hanging it from a branch.

The manufacturer has chosen polyester instead of the more commonly used nylon (polyamide) found in most ultralight tents. The reason is that polyester does not sag as much when wet and absorbs less water, allowing it to dry faster.
