The Montane brand has introduced a range of updates and improvements in its 2024 collection of the legendary Trailblazer backpacks. The backpacks are now made from recycled materials, with the most significant changes in pocket design, pack access, and a new T-Hook attachment system. This T-Hook system allows relocation of fastening points using hooks that fit into multiple attachment slots along the front panel's sides. The Trailblazer 32 backpack builds on the previous very popular Trailblazer 30 model.
The backpack is made from lightweight and durable recycled RAPTOR Cross Lite 70D Nylon, which resists light rain thanks to a durable polyurethane composite UTS coating and a PFC-free DWR treatment. This makes the pack more environmentally friendly and safer for the user. For greater durability, the bottom of the backpack is reinforced with recycled material RAPTOR Resistance 210D Nylon. Even the zippers used are made from recycled materials.
Comfort and stability are ensured by the 3D-molded foam back panel with a ventilated, breathable section. Load lifters allow for center of gravity adjustments, while a simple compression cord system provides additional flexibility. The pack is also compatible with hydration bladders.
The backpack comes in one universal size and is suitable for individuals with a torso length of 40–53 cm. Thanks to the Zephyr AD back system, you can adjust the back length to your needs. If you are looking for a backpack for day hikes as well as weekend treks that offers a lot for a reasonable price, the Trailblazer 32 is the right choice.
For fast movement in the mountains
The backpack closely conforms to the user's body while allowing full freedom of active movement. The COVALENT system adapts perfectly to individual body shapes.
Chest straps
The backpack features two height-adjustable elastic chest straps with Click and Go fastening, ensuring quick and easy adjustments for enhanced stability and security during fast-paced movement.
Side pockets
The comfortable hip belt has 2 easily accessible zippered pockets suitable for snacks or a wallet. Two side mesh pockets allow quick access to a water bottle.
Shoulder strap pockets
The shoulder strap pockets feature a stretch expansion and are zippered for secure closure. They are spacious enough to hold a cell phone or small water bottles.
Quick attachment of trekking poles
The new T-Hook attachment system allows adjustable placement of fastening points on the backpack using hooks that can be inserted into multiple slots on the sides of the front panel.
Front mesh pocket
The large front stretch pocket allows for quick access to all essentials – waterproof jacket, toilet trowel, or water filter.
Adjustable back length
The Simple ZephyrAD system for easy adjustment of the backpack length to perfectly fit your size.
Internal storage space
You can quickly access the main compartment through the Bivi opening with quick drawcord closure.
