Brand Montane The new collection for 2024 brings a bunch of changes and upgrades to the legendary Trailblazer backpacks. The packs are now made from recycled materials, but the biggest changes are in the pockets, access to the backpack, and the new T-Hook attachment system, which lets you move the attachment points around the pack using hooks in several different slots on the sides of the front panel. The Trailblazer Women’s 30 (2024) responds to the demand for larger packs for women, which have been missing from Montane's lineup so far, but they’ll still be lightweight and compact.
The backpack is made from lightweight and durable recycled material, RAPTOR Cross Lite 70D Nylon, which can hold up against light rain thanks to its tough polyurethane composite coating, UTS, and water-repellent DWR treatment, which was made without using perfluorocarbons (PFC). So, the production of this backpack is more eco-friendly for both the environment and the user. For added durability, the bottom of the backpack is reinforced with recycled material, RAPTOR Resistance 210D Nylon. Even the zippers used are made from recycled materials.
Comfort and good stability are provided by the 3D-shaped foam back panel with a ventilated breathable section, tailored to the sizes and curves of a woman's body. There's also a simple compression cord system for added flexibility. Of course, it's compatible with a hydration bladder.
The backpack comes in just one size and is suitable for women with a back length of 38 – 48 cm. Thanks to the Zephyr AD back system, you can adjust the exact back length of the backpack to fit your needs. The Trailblazer 30 backpack will give you everything you need for day hikes and treks, or even for quick summer weekend trips.
For fast movement
The backpack carefully hugs your body and doesn't restrict you at all during active movement. The COVALENT straps are custom-fit to you.
Chest straps
The backpack has two height-adjustable elastic chest straps with Click and Go fastening for quick and easy adjustment and security when you're on the move.
Side pockets
The comfortable hip belt has 2 easily accessible zip pockets perfect for snacks or your wallet. Two side mesh pockets allow quick access to a water bottle.
Shoulder strap pockets
Shoulder strap pockets with stretchy expansion are zippered and big enough for your phone or smaller bottles.
Quick attachment of trekking poles
The new T-Hook attachment system lets you shift the attachment points on your backpack using hooks into several different holes along the sides of the front panel.
Front mesh pocket
The big front pocket lets you quickly grab all the essentials – your waterproof jacket, trowel, or maybe even your water filter.
Adjustable back length
The simple ZephyrAD system for easily adjusting the pack length perfectly to fit you.
Main compartment
You can quickly access the main compartment of the backpack through the Bivi opening with fast pull.
