NEMO Dragonfly OSMO 2P
Dragonfly OSMO 2P tent from the American brand NEMO is an ultralight free-standing three-season double-wall tent that has an ideal weight-to-space ratio. Its total weight (including accessories) is just 1,41 kg. Inside the tent, you will find enough space and comfort for 2 people not only for sleeping but also for sitting.
Thanks to the 2 separate entrances with 2 asymmetrical vestibules for storing backpacks, you won't get in each other's way at all inside the tent. The tent also has plenty of features and thoughtful details that will definitely make your stay and sleep outdoors more enjoyable.
The package includes not only the tent itself (inner tent, rainfly) with 2 poles, but also tent stakes, guylines, a pole repair sleeve, and a practical stuff sack with a roll-top closure.
To extend the life of the tent, we recommend using the original footprint under the tent NEMO Dragonfly 2P Footprint, which can be purchased separately, or the footprint Tyvek for 2 persons.
If you plan to use the tent only by yourself, we recommend looking into a semi-freestanding tent NEMO Hornet OSMO 2P, which offers slightly less interior space, but is also a few hundred grams lighter as a result. However, both tents are spacious enough for 2 people, so one person will always have absolutely luxurious comfort and space inside for storing their backpack and all belongings.
Features
2 separate doors and 2 vestibules
The tent has 2 separate large doors placed on the sides, so you don’t have to climb over each other with your partner. Each entrance has its own sufficiently spacious vestibule of an asymmetrical shape, for example, for storing a backpack.
Inner tent – mosquito net
The inner tent is made of OSMO ripstop fabric and insect-proof mesh, which also eliminates condensation. On the sides of the tent, white mesh is used to provide more privacy, while above your head, there is black mesh through which you can observe the night sky.
Cut-out rainfly
The rainfly above is cut out, so it does not fully reach the ground, which is to reduce the weight of the entire tent and at the same time improve ventilation. However, it will not rain inside the tent – the inner tent in this area is made of OSMO ripstop material, from which the tub-like footprint of the tent is also made.
Patented Gatekeeper™ clamps
A simple and elegant solution for securing the tent door and mosquito net using integrated Gatekeeper™ clips that you can operate with just one hand.
Ventilation openings
To reduce moisture condensation inside the tent, you can open the small vent openings on the rainfly, which are located above both doors of the tent.
Practical packing
The tent can be fully packed, including the poles, into a stuff sack with a roll-top closure, which is included in the package. However, it is designed in such a way that you can also distribute the weight of the tent among partners if you pack the poles and stakes separately.
Internal integrated pocket
Inside the tent, in the upper part above your head, you will find a larger practical mesh pocket for storing items or drying wet clothes.
Small pockets for mobile phones
On both sides of the inner tent (tent body), you will find a small practical pocket designed for storing a mobile phone.
Night pockets for light
At the top of the inner tent, there are 2 smaller corner pockets, where you can place your lit headlamps in the evening, which evenly disperse light throughout the tent and also eliminate blue light.
Materials
The entire range of OSMO tents brand NEMO is made from patented ripstop material OSMO. It is a combination of 100% recycled polyester and nylon, which is 20% stronger, has 4x better water repellency, and 3x less stretch when wet compared to commonly used tent materials. The OSMO material also contains no PFAS substances, no added chemicals were used in its production, and it meets fire resistance standards. It also has certification bluesign®. This means that the manufacturing process of this material is safe for the environment, the workers, and its users.

Construction
The tent is free-standing, which means it can stand independently without being anchored with stakes. If necessary, only the walls of the vestibules need to be tensioned and secured (using stakes, larger stones, etc.).
The assembly of the tent is fast, simple, and intuitive thanks to the color-coded elements.
The main structure of the tent is made up of one branching pole and one shorter cross pole to increase headroom. The inner tent is attached to the pole structure using clips, and the rainfly is thrown over and secured on top of it.
The video shows the assembly of the NEMO Dragonfly tent, which has the same construction and design as the NEMO Dragonfly OSMO, differing only in the materials used and color.
