NEMO Hornet OSMO 3P
Hornet OSMO 3P tent from the American brand NEMO is an ultralight three-season double-wall tent for 3 people. Its total weight (including accessories) is an incredible 1,49 kg. It is one of the lightest tents for three people, which also has 2 separate doors with vestibules. The tent also has plenty of features and thoughtful details that you will surely love.
The tent is spacious enough to fit three standard-sized sleeping pads inside next to each other without overlapping. However, backpacks need to be stored in the vestibules. If only two people are using the tent, there will still be enough space around them to store their gear and backpacks inside the tent.
The package includes not only the tent itself (inner tent, rainfly) with the tent pole, but also stakes, tension lines, a tube (sleeve) for pole repair, and a practical stuff sack with a roll-top closure.
Features
2 separate doors and 2 vestibules
The tent has 2 separate entrances located on the sides. Each entrance has its own sufficiently spacious vestibule, for example, for storing backpacks.
Inner tent – mosquito net
The inner tent is made of OSMO ripstop material and insect mesh, which also eliminates condensation. A white mesh is used on the sides of the tent, providing more privacy, while above the head is black mesh, through which you can observe the night sky.
Cut-out rainfly
The rainfly above is cut out, so it does not reach the ground completely, in order to reduce the weight of the entire tent and to improve ventilation. However, rain will not enter the tent – the inner tent in this area is made of OSMO ripstop material, which is also used for the tent's footprint. The rainfly is slightly cut out in the foot area as well.
Inner space
At the top of the structure, the tent is secured to a cross pole, which increases the internal space of the tent overhead and evenly distributes the tension that occurs when tensioning the rainfly.

Ventilation holes
To reduce moisture condensation inside the tent, you can open the small vents on the rainfly, which are located above both tent entrances.
Internal integrated pocket
Inside the tent, in the upper part above your head, you'll find one larger practical mesh pocket for storing items or for drying wet clothing.
Night pocket for light
At the top of the inner tent, there is a pocket where you can place a lit headlamp in the evening, which evenly diffuses light in the tent and also removes blue light.
Practical packing
The tent can be completely packed, including the poles, into a stuff sack with roll-top closure that is included in the package. However, it is designed in such a way that you can also distribute the weight of the tent among partners. If you pack the pole structure separately, you can compress the stuff sack with the tent into a small package.
Materials
The entire range of OSMO tents brand NEMO is made from patented ripstop material OSMO. It is a combination of 100% recycled polyester and nylon, which is 20% stronger, has 4x better water repellency, and 3x less stretch when wet compared to commonly used tent materials. The OSMO material also contains no PFAS substances, no added chemicals were used in its production, and it meets fire resistance standards. It also has certification bluesign®. This means that the manufacturing process of this material is safe for the environment, the workers, and its users.

Construction
The tent is semi-freestanding, which means it can stand independently without anchoring with stakes, but to keep the lower part at the feet taut, it needs to be weighted or staked down.
The tent assembly itself is quick, simple, and intuitive thanks to the color-coded elements.
The video shows the setup of the NEMO Hornet tent for 2 people NEMO Hornet OSMO 2P (only from a different material). The design differs from the 3-person tent only in the upper part, which in the three-person tent is made up of a longer cross pole instead of shorter Flybar™ clips.
