Although the name is somewhat misleading, it is not a quilt as we know it, for example, from Cumulus or Enlightened Equipment. Warmpeace Quilt 300 is a classic rectangular sleeping bag without a hood. Thanks to the long YKK zipper, you can unzip it and turn it into a spacious blanket measuring 220 x 160 cm for 2 people.
The Quilt 300 will be an ideal choice for summer season for those who require a lot of space or sleep on their side with bent knees. On really warm nights or when sleeping in the car or the hut, it can serve as a down blanket for two. The Quilt 300 is available in only one size, which is suitable for individuals up to 200 cm tall.
The sleeping bag includes straps that allow the sleeping bag to wrap around the body. You'll appreciate this at lower temperatures during morning cooking and moving around the tent. By using exclusively recycled materials, the Quilt 300 ranks among environmentally friendly products.
Materials and construction
The sleeping bag construction uses recycled Loft Nylon fabric, which can successfully work with a smaller amount of down filling. The outer side of the fabric is treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) coating, which can hold back light condensation or a few drops of water.
The great performance is ensured by 300 grams of recycled goose down with a fill power of 500 cuin. The ratio of down to small feathers is 75/25. The total weight of the Warmpeace Quilt 300 is 790 grams. The dimensions of the zipped sleeping bag are 220 x 80 cm.
The sleeping bag uses an H-shaped chamber construction that prevents the formation of "cold spots" at the seams of two chambers. Behind the zipper is a flap to prevent heat loss and limit zipper snagging. The package includes a double drawstring "compression" sack. The sleeping bag has a packed volume of 6,5 liters and dimensions of 18 x 26 cm.
