Liteway Sleeping Pad Cover is a protective waterproof cover designed primarily to protect foam folding sleeping pads with an accordion construction, such as Therm-A-Rest Z Lite Sol, Therm-A-Rest Z Lite, or NEMO Switchback.
Foam sleeping pads are usually carried attached to the outside of the backpack, which can lead to quicker and easier soiling or damage in difficult terrain, when putting down the backpack, etc. With the cover from Liteway you will extend the life of your sleeping pad and prevent it from getting dirty. However, you can of course use this cover for any other gear as well (e.g. tent).
The cover is made of Levitex Silpoly 20D Ripstop material (water column 2000 mm) and its weight is 30 grams. The dimensions of the cover are 66 cm x 13 cm x 13 cm. The sleeping pad cover features a practical roll-top closure.
For better waterproofing of the bag, we recommend sealing the seams with silicone coating from the outside. You can use Gear Aid Seam Grip +Sil 28g or prepare the coating at home from sanitary silicone and lacquer thinner (white spirit, in a ratio of about 1:2, with a consistency similar to oil).
