Women’s Protium Hoodie
A favorite piece from the Montane brand, this time in a women's version! The Women’s Protium Hoodie has exactly the ideal weight of material (thickness) for use most of the year, making it an incredibly versatile companion not only in the mountains but also in the city.
The hoodie is made from the Thermo Grid material, which features brushed fibers with a grid structure on the inside. We have become incredibly fond of this material construction and consider it almost as a necessity for every hoodie for outdoor activities. The main reasons are: lower weight, comfort, good insulation properties, excellent moisture wicking, and breathability.
The hoodie has two side pockets that are really spacious, and the zipper is quite long – you can access them even with the hip belt of the backpack fastened or while wearing a climbing harness. The hoodie has a full-length zipper made of 100% recycled material with an inner protective flap.
What further excites us about this hoodie is its thoughtful fit. It moves with you and doesn't restrict you at all. The hood fits perfectly, and thanks to the higher collar, it prevents the wind from blowing on your neck. A higher proportion of elastane ensures that the hoodie is pleasantly stretchy.
